Valeria Orozco

Co-Director of Education Policy

Valeria Orozco is one of the Co-Directors of Education policy at GGI. Valeria is from Greensboro, North Carolina and is living in DC during her gap year while working for the Youth Leadership Foundation, which helps inner city youth graduate high school and go to higher education before she goes to UNC Chapel Hill as a freshman Fall 2021. Valeria was involved with Speech and Debate in addition to service clubs in high school and hopes to continue getting involved in political organizations like Model UN in college. Political activism has always been a passion of hers, whether it be at the student, local, state or federal government level. She loves writing and researching, and hopes to bring light and change with policy through GGI!
