July 12 - August 20

This summer, The Greater Good Initiative is excited to offer its inaugural internship program open to high school and college students across the nation. This internship is specifically crafted for young people who have big ideas for creating institutions of justice, equity, and sustainability and are interested in exploring what public policy looks like. This internship will offer the cohort hard policy and advocacy skills and workshops, introduce them to a professional network, connect them with mentors and other young people from all over the country, and ultimately offer interns a launching pad to write real policy.

The internship program will be 6 weeks long, spanning from 7/12 to 8/20. Each week, interns will be expected to attend three calls that take place on Mondays at 2:30 PM ET (skills workshops), Wednesdays at 11:00 AM ET (mid-week check-ins), and Fridays at 4:00 PM ET (work sessions/socials). Interns will be divided into smaller groups and under guidance from GGI directors, craft their own policy proposals. At the end of the program, some of these proposals might be adapted into GGI policies!

Application due June 25 by 11:59 PM ET
