Emma Blankstein is a senior at Oakwood School in Los Angeles, California, where she serves as Co-President of a student-founded environmental justice organization and Co-Founder of the Oakwood Sustainability Working Group, which brings together stakeholders to implement community-based climate solutions and curriculum. Emma is an Ambassador and Youth Advisory Board Member for the international nonprofit The Pad Project, which advocates and educates about the need for accessible, affordable, and safe menstrual products. She is also Co-Chair of the Teen Advisory Board at Holocaust Museum Los Angeles where she amplifies the Survivors’ messages of justice and understanding and has made five short films about their lives.
