Director of Public Health Advocacy
Elizabeth Nguyen is a freshman at James Madison University as a Dingledine-Bluestone Scholar. Lizzie plans to study kinesiology with a minor in pre-medicine, and hopes to pursue a career in medicine or public health policy to serve underrepresented patients. At Falls Church High School, she was involved with HOSA as a chapter president, FIRST Robotics as a Head of Communications, and attended the 2018 Virginia Summer Residential Governor’s School for Humanities at Radford University. Lizzie interned for the Ralph Northam for VA 2017 gubernatorial campaign and worked with AAPI Victory Fund, which sparked her interest in grassroots advocacy for the advancement of healthcare and drug regulation policy. Outside of politics and policy, Lizzie is a huge sports fan (Go Birds!)—so much that she authors a fantasy football column for Wegryn Enterprises and has appeared on the Jumbotron at Nationals Park as a junior in-game host.
